Complaints.
If something we have done falls short, tell us. We would rather hear it directly.
How to complain
Write to complaints@bonham-coutts.co.uk, or to our registered office marked for the attention of the Compliance Officer. Tell us what happened, when, and what you would like us to do about it.
We acknowledge complaints within five working days and aim to give a full response within four weeks. If it will take longer, we tell you why and when to expect an answer.
What we do with it
Every complaint is logged, investigated by someone not involved in the original matter where possible, and reviewed at board level.
Where we got something wrong, we say so and we put it right.
If you are not satisfied
Sterling Gold Securities is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. If you invested as a high net worth or self-certified sophisticated investor, you may have no right to complain to the Financial Ombudsman Service or to seek compensation from the Financial Services Compensation Scheme in relation to that investment. This is stated in the investor statement you signed.
Where a financial promotion was approved by an FCA-authorised approver, you may be able to raise the matter with that firm. We will tell you who approved a given promotion on request.
You retain your ordinary legal rights, and you can raise data protection concerns with the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
